An investment in success. MABEG MSP 106 at AUG. HEINRIGS
Aachen-based AUG. HEINRIGS Druck+Verpackung GmbH, a member of the rlc packaging group, uses a MABEG MSP 106 for applications such as coding, serialisation and fingerprint technologies.

AUG. HEINRIGS Druck+Verpackung produces premium packaging for confectionery products and cosmetics brands.

“We were seeking a flexible platform for a variety of encoding and inspection tasks on sheets in the 3B format for industrial production, i.e. the focus was not only on functionality, but also on reliability and quality,” is how the requirements are explained at AUG. HEINRIGS.

A MABEG Sheet Processor MSP 106 – II – 1B1S – 1700 was therefore selected. This is a high-precision sheet transport line for a wide range of applications such as ink-jet coding, inspection and sorting plus track-and-trace or fingerprint technologies. The heart of the sheet transport line is the MABEG precision tables for mounting the application devices. For the particular processing steps required at AUG. HEINRIGS, the MSP 106 was fitted with two precision tables in conventional and “overhead” arrangements, so that the processes can be carried out on both the top and bottom of the sheets in just one run, i.e. without the need to turn the sheets around.

“In the MSP 106 we have got a powerful machine that carries out all of the encoding and verification tasks that are currently desired by our customers. Should the range of required applications change or expand, then we can customise the MSP or even add further modules, if necessary. So what we have got is a flexible platform that is ready for the future,” they say in Aachen.
